Pre-K know everything there is to know about orange octopi, so I thought it was time they made a 3-D version.
First, we turned our white clay orange by adding tempera paint. It was a big, squishy, fun, mess!
Then, we separated our clay into 2 piles for the body and 8 tentacles. We made a circle for the body, and added the tentacle after.
The finishing touches were the eyes and mouth. Some octopi even had blue hair!
