The past few weeks students in Elementary and Middle school have been working so hard on creating one mural per class to display in this year's art exhibit. First, each class was given a theme in chronological order, telling the story of Christmas through time. Each student sketched and colored their own ideas, and at the end of class we voted on our favorite sketch. In some cases, 2 or 3 sketches won, so we combined elements of multiple sketches into our final. The next class, we put our final sketch onto a giant piece of mural paper, and began painting. It was great to see so many students work together. Every student was able to contribute and should be proud to say; "That's my classes' mural."
