Kindergartner's have been creating a lot of Eric Carle inspired art lately, since it is the theme for their Moving on Ceremony in June, so we used Carle's painted paper method to create Mother's Day cards.
We have been creating a collection of painted paper the past few weeks that we will use for their graduation decoration, so I used some of their painted paper for their cards.
Then, they used different circle patterns to cut 3 big circles, 3 medium circles, and 3 small circles, to glue together in size order to create 3 flowers. The last step was to add a button in the middle and some leaves with green marker. Here are the final results:
